Alice A. Reid, EA President
Alice has over 30 years experience in finance and administration with both for-profit and nonprofit institutions.
Early in Alice’s career, she worked for a variety of private industry companies. After ten years working in a corporate climate, Alice secured a position with a small public accounting firm where she served a wide variety of clients from small businesses and individuals to corporations and nonprofits. In addition to her five years experience in public accounting, Alice spent eight years in the public sector and honed her expertise in the nonprofit arena, first working with a local agency, helping them to expand their operations to a national organization and then with an international nonprofit organization where she excelled and was promoted to Director of Finance and Operations.
Currently, Alice is an Enrolled Agent licensed by the Internal Revenue Service; this designation allows her the same representation privileges as tax attorneys and certified public accountants. In 2003, Alice moved her tax and accounting practice to Main Street in historic Reisterstown, MD, where she currently employs 3 people. The business serves individuals, small businesses and nonprofits.
Alice is active in her community; since 2006 she has served on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors with the Reisterstown-Owings Mills-Glyndon Chamber of Commerce where she is currently Treasurer. She also serves as Treasurer on the Board of the Reisterstown Improvement Association. In 2009 Alice became a Director on the Board of the Md Society of Accountants where she has been an active member since 2001. Other affiliations include the Center for Spiritual Living North Jersey as well as serving on the Finance Committee for the International Centers for Spiritual Living.
